I really enjoyed this one! It was fun! As you can see, I had to cover up the small writing on the intermission screen. I couldn’t pull it off.
This was the most detailed, difficult PBN I’ve done but made me smile each time I looked at it. At 77 years old, it was part of my teen years as well as a Fun Family outing.
Had a good time doing this painting of a time in my childhood that brought better times. The painting was very detailed and took about 3 weeks to finish working on it 2-3 hours per day.
I painted this painting for my husband, as he re-discovered drive-ins a few years ago, and we have now traveled around the country visiting drive-ins in a good many states. I found this painting to be very enjoyable to work on and th efinished piece is beautiful. Have to wait to get it framed until we're out of quarantined, but this will be a well-loved object in our home.
My first ever painting by numbers and when I unrolled the canvas and saw how tiny some of the spots were I was very overwhelmed! However, soon got the hang of it and it hours melted away while I was painting - I didn’t want it to end and love the final result!! However I’ve knocked a star off as two of the three brushes had split bristles and couldn’t be used, I had to buy more. But in terms of the actual canvas and painting by numbers I couldn’t be happier! I’m not artistic in any way, I only ordered this as a new way to pass the time in lockdown and now it’s my favourite pastime
