I love this painting and it came out just like the picture. I am never disappointed with Masterpiece!!!
Received as a 60th Birthday gift, sent from USA to England & brought by plane to Portugal.
My 1st Masterpiece by numbers, took about 3 months to complete, I was happy with most of the colours I did have to substitute a few & I did change some of the colours to suit my own taste but on the whole a good quality paint by numbers. Best of all the original artists get commissioned for their work.
I only wish Masterpiece would ship to Portugal as it will be a long wait for my next one.
I enjoyed painting this and thinking about what the rest of the village would look like. The red house in the original painting looked so much better than the yellow-orange color provided in the kit, so I had to make that change. Also, the sea in the distance needed some deeper shades of blue. It appears that not all of the colors provided were a true representation of the original artist's version. Other than that, it was still fun to do !
I finished this one last week. I ordered it a while ago but the paints were still creamy. I did add some flow aid and water as I was using the paints to keep them fluid.
The colors are wonderful. Love it
