Turning For Home by Richard Wheatland - The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft. It was used throughout the world during WWII and remains the most well known and well loved of all British planes.
The Spitfire was the only British fighter produced continuously throughout the war. Today around 54 Spitfires remain airworthy.

I was really impressed at the quality of paints and canvas. It was very enjoyable and relaxing. I am working on my second painting ‘Fighter and bomber’ it is much more detailed and challenging. I’m glad I started with this one first. I learned a few tricks and might have gotten a little discouraged had I started with Fighter and bomber. Recommending to all my senior friends. It is being framed at this time.
I’m not quite finished but am excited to share my experience. High quality canvas, paint and brushes. I am really enjoying the process. I am working from the top down. It requires a lot of paint changes but keeps my hand off painted surfaces while painting. A magnifying glass helps. Just ordered the fighter/bomber.,
