I really enjoyed doing this pbn. The canvas and paints are great quality. I did use my own brushes which included some fine, detail brushes. There are some really tiny spots! I did a little blending and extended a few colors. My grandson loves it! My other grandson wants it too....not sure about doing it twice tho!😂
I had an absolute blast working on this painting. The end result is beautiful. The only thing that kept it from getting five stars is that there were several spots not marked at all for what color was supposed to be there. I may have been a little ambitious for my first one because there were some truly frustrating things to learn. NOT the fault of this company at all though...
I loved doing this one because it was a challenge! It was fun to watch it come to life. It is very intricate to do, having many shades of similar colors. I wish I had the for thought to do all of the light spaces first, as it would have been easier to double coat without worrying about the darker colors. It is a gift for my son; who at 35 still loves his video games. Figured it can go in his video room.
Another great painting, thank you MBN! I learned a lot about blending, and enjoyed seeing this fantastical image emerge as I went along. If you choose this painting, I recommend you treat yourself to a rigger paintbrush, nice and long and thin, to use for the long thin areas that comprise the castle tower. It might be “cheating,” but it moved my opinion that this painting is “difficult” to a painting that is “relaxing and enjoyable.” It’s a fascinating rendering by the excellent original artist.
