I wanted to do something special for my Moms birthday this year, so I thought I’d do something a little different and give this a try... I loved doing my first MBN and my Mom also loved this as a present! Can’t wait to do more :)
LOVE this painting! It was my 2nd effort, Book Shop was my 1st, and these MBN kits bring so much peace, fun, and joy to troubled times. Thank you for quality offerings!
What a wonderful project to have during the pandemic. Daily I would turn on Sirius XM's Symphony Hall Classical Music Channel and get to work on Venice Canal. My time on the project whisked me away from the problems of the world each day for 2 glorious hours. 60 hours total to complete. My wife posted the finished work on social media and the responses were a lot of fun. Can't wait for my next project!
This was 2nd MBN painting, and it came out every bit as serene and beautiful as Book Shop. I not only enjoyed the process of seeing it develop as I painted, but each part brought back warm memories of a reunion weekend with special friends in Venice. This looks like a photo I took at “blue hour,” right before we enjoyed “Barber of Seville” at La Fenice Opera House. Ahh! I feel I am there again every time I look at this beautiful painting!
