I really enjoyed doing this painting, from the start the atmosphere of horse and jockey straining for the finish line filled my head … an exhilarating image!
I started this painting 2yrs ago, life got in the way, but it’s finally finished, I really like it, but the colours never seem to be as vibrant as the originals. I’ve done quite a few and they’re always enjoyable.
Fantastic colours, from the grass, horses and the jockeys silks. Difficult to do but very rewarding on completion.
This is my first try and I wanted something to paint that I enjoyed ie sport.
In a way I was testing myself and the product and I am very happy with both.
Can certainly recommend MBN and now my painting is framed I’m more than happy to hang it up at home.
Enjoyed this painting and took the liberty of slightly adapting the horse nearest the rails to match the jockey’s silk colours and animal markings of a horse part owned by a good friends He is now proudly displaying the framed painting…
