I loved painting this and the colours really were calming have it framed in my kitchen
I’m not in the slightest bit artistic so I bought this with pretty low expectations of the outcome. 4 months later I am very proud of what I’ve achieved and am planning to frame it. I did 2-3 hours every afternoon and it was a great escape from the reality of the pandemic. So relaxing - I didn’t want to finish it. I’ve now bought another though it is more abstract so I’m not sure how I’ll get on with it as I was such a perfectionist with this one !!
My first attempt & thoroughly enjoyed passing the time away painting. Took my mind off what was happening in the world at the moment ! No doubt I’ll be ordering another one.
From the minute the well packed parcel arrived until today’s completed picture I have been very impressed. The canvas was lovely, the paints were plentiful and glided on beautifully.
I did make mistakes, I did change a few colours but the end result is fantastic especially for a first attempt. I’ve picked up a few brush techniques for my next one (the cockerel)
My husband is terminally ill and this has given me timeout in my own bubble to recharge my batteries.
